The United Kingdom remains one of Nigeria’s biggest trading partners. Correspondingly, the Nigerians in the UK consist of a substantial portion of the population. Whilst precise figures of the number of Nigerians in the United Kingdom are not immediately available, the Home Office estimates the number of Nigerians as approximately 2 million. This figure does not include 2nd and 3rd generation Nigerians who hold British Citizenship.
