MEET OUR
TEAM
Andrews
Solicitors was established in August 1997. The firm’s offices are
located at 92a Rye Lane, Peckham, SE15. Rye Lane is, in many respects,
the busiest street in South London outside the square mile.
The
firm’s chief objective has always been to provide competent, comprehensive
and helpful legal services to meet the needs of client. Our strength lies
in the delivery of a friendly and result-driven service, placing the client
at the centre of our work. The firm’s services are provided over
a range of areas of work selected to cater a wide array of clients. It
also undertakes advisory work on all aspects of Nigerian Law for all categories
of clients in the United Kingdom.
The
legal work of the firm is presently led by its partners, Andrew Onyearu
and Charles Spiropoulos. They are assisted by other solicitors and lawyers
of varying and considerable experience. Both Andrew Onyearu and Charles
Spiropoulos are dual qualified, having been called to the Nigerian Bar
in August 1985. There are a number of legal and paralegal staff as well
as administrative staff, all of whom ensure that the firm’s work
is and remains of the highest possible quality. The firm frequently collaborates
on specific projects with accomplished lawyers within and outside the
United Kingdom where the individuals act as consultants. Andrews Solicitors
also belongs to the Immigration Law Practitioners Association; JCWI; Legal
Aid Practitioners Group and Housing Law Practitioners Association.
The
firm is aware that there is a growing need for organisations in overseas
countries to seek advice in relation to various aspects of English Law.
As a consequence, the firm’s work in this area, particularly in
relation to private individuals from abroad as well as governments seeking
advice in relation to English Law is a critical aspect of its present
and future outlook. Further, the firm offers services in association with
overseas lawyers in providing advice on English Law as required. Andrews
Solicitors has overseas associated offices in Abuja and Lagos in Nigeria
as well as New York and Los Angeles.
